Reporting to Jen Simons, Learning and Development Manager, this role focuses on delivering comprehensive technical training across the surveying functions. You will ensure ongoing development in risk management surveying practices for both technical colleagues and customers, helping to drive excellence in our field.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Work collaboratively with appropriate stakeholders and the Learning & Development Team to design, deliver and evaluate technical learning programmes for strategic and operational project initiatives
  • Work collaboratively with appropriate stakeholders and the Learning & Development Team to design, deliver and evaluate the AssocRICS, HSL2, APC and SAVA programmes; reviewing and improving material as necessary
  • Provide support with CPD events to meet annual minimal requirements for all RICS professionals
  • Ensure all learning styles and people with learning difficulties are considered during the design and review of all technical training material
  • Provide proactive advice, direction, and guidance on all technical training issues to support stakeholders

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • AssocRICS, MRICS or FRICS qualified
  • Technical knowledge of Building Pathology, associated legislation and other relevant construction standards and regulation
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to facilitate engaging, interactive sessions and adapt to the needs of diverse audiences.
  • Basic knowledge of training design principles and the ability to deliver learning in a structured and supportive way.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging participants, providing clear instructions, and managing group dynamics
  • Track training participation and feedback data, contributing to reports that evaluate training impact and engagement.

Familiarity with PowerPoint, Word and Excel to develop materials, manage content, and produce reports.
